Carry your things in country style with this brown lidded basket, woven from willow. Measuring 25x17x13/27h cm, it is a handy size for going to the market, packing a snack or picking fruit, and its tall handle of plaited rods sits comfortably in your hand or over your arm.

Its double hinged lid opens on either side of the handle, so you can reach one half of the contents without uncovering the other. The lids, in the same weave as the body, protect what you carry, and the rim reinforced with wrapped rods gives the oval shape of the basket its firmness.

Use it as a snack basket for children, to bring eggs or bread home from the shop, as a gift basket filled with gourmet products or as a decorative piece in a rustic-style kitchen. Closed on a shelf, it also keeps tea towels, napkins or small utensils out of sight.
