Measuring 23x14x10h cm, this jewellery box made of mango wood and MDF, hand-painted, is a true masterpiece of Rajasthani Indian craftsmanship. The main surface in natural wood features a richly painted decoration with geometric floral motifs: medallions with petal flowers in red and turquoise, yellow leaves, and a profusion of bright dots imitating mirror or mother-of-pearl inlays. The two front drawers — with metal ring handles — each feature a large central flower in red and turquoise on a natural background, framed by borders of bright dots that create an effect of great sumptuousness.
