Keep little treasures or prepare a special gift with this brown lidded basket, woven from willow. Measuring 19x15x9/21h cm, it is a small size that fits on a shelf, on a hallway table or in a child's hand, and its tall handle of plaited rods lets you carry it over your arm with ease.

Its double hinged lid opens on either side of the handle, so you can take something from one half without uncovering the other. The lids share the same weave as the body, and the rim reinforced with wrapped rods keeps the oval shape of the basket firm, even when it is full.

Use it as a gift basket with sweets or handmade soaps, as a snack basket for children, to store tea bags, spices or sewing thread, or as a favour for weddings, communions and christenings. When closed, it keeps the contents tidy and out of sight on any shelf.
