This antique Indian brown door in recycled wood with ogee arch panels and upper arches is an elegant piece of Indo-European colonial architecture. With dimensions of 142x27x218h cm, the double door features leaves with three panels: the upper one with an ogee arch with interior work in aged blue-green, the middle one with a panel of floral motifs and arabesques in natural wood and the lower one smooth. The frame features an upper frieze in aged blue with floral motifs and pilasters with small columns. The whole piece shows the paint layers in aged blue and green with the natural wood showing through on the entire surface. The hardware includes an original iron bolt. A piece of 218 cm reflecting the colonial elegance of Indian architecture of Persian and European influence.
