This antique Indian brown door in recycled wood is an exceptional antique piece with carved frame and leaves with wrought iron bands. With dimensions of 142x35x206h cm, the double door features leaves with planks and horizontal metal bands with golden rivets, organised in four sections separated by iron reinforcements. The solid wood frame features an upper lintel with artisan carving in floral motifs with a central elephant medallion, symbol of prosperity in the Indian tradition. The leaves show layers of aged paint in worn green tones and the natural colour of the wood with original iron ring fittings. A door of remarkable history from an Indian haveli that brings unique ethnic character to any space.
