This antique Indian brown door in recycled wood with baroque arch panels and animal frieze is a piece of remarkable architectural elegance. With dimensions of 160x20x224h cm, the double door features leaves with arched panels with curved baroque moulding in the upper area and double moulding panels in the lower part, all in the warm colour of teak wood with natural patina. The solid frame features an upper lintel of great scale with carved frieze of floral motifs and scenes from Indian mythology with characters, animals and symbolic motifs in very high relief. The pilasters feature vertical flutes with row-of-dots motifs. The hardware consists of modern stainless steel. A door of 224 cm of great historical and iconographic value from a representative building of Indian colonial architecture.
