Hand-painted relief art with wooden frame 82 x 7 x 82h cm

Code:31964

Dress your wall with a calm relief thanks to this hand-painted picture in off-white, made from canvas, Chinese fir wood and plastic. Measuring 82x7x82h cm, its square format and 7 cm depth fit above a headboard, a console table or the sofa in a bright living room.

The relief is arranged in four squares in a chequerboard: two have wavy bands that bend and lift away from the surface like moving slats, while the other two show straight, parallel horizontal ridges. The contrast between curve and straight line gives the piece energy, and fine shiny flecks mark the edges of the waves.

A smooth band surrounds the relief and the slim wooden frame finishes it discreetly. The shadows of the waves change with side light, so the piece looks different in the morning and the evening. It suits minimalist-style bedrooms, bright living rooms and reading corners.
