This handcrafted wooden headboard brings together three large panels carved with floral motifs, rosettes and scrolls covering the entire surface, framed by geometric borders that are also carved. The brown finish reveals the grain and the depth of the relief, and a series of decorative studs marks the joints between panels and the outline of the frame. It is made of mango wood and measures 160 x 3 x 120 cm (width x depth x height). The three carved panels sit on two straight legs that are part of the structure, and its 3 cm depth gives it a very flat profile behind the bed. Designed for an ethnic, colonial or bohemian-style master bedroom, it turns the wall behind the bed into the centrepiece of the room with no further decoration. Its 160 cm width suits large beds, and the brown of the wood goes well with bed linen in plain fabrics and ethnic-inspired textiles.
