This decorative tribal-style mask figure is carved from albizia wood with a dark brown finish that highlights the intricate geometric motifs hand-engraved across the entire face surface. The ethnically inspired design includes bold reliefs and carved patterns running across the forehead and cheeks of the mask. The contours of the reliefs are decorated with small glass mosaic tiles, which add shine and emphasise the geometric pattern carved into the wood. Crowning the mask, a full fan-shaped crest of dried, tan-toned sea grass adds volume and a strong tribal character to the piece, which is mounted on a metal rod anchored to a rectangular wooden base in the same brown tone. With dimensions of 38x12x50h cm, this decorative mask is ideal for walls, shelves or compositions with an ethnic, handcrafted style.
