This decorative peacock figure combines traditional wood carving with the natural texture of sea grass, creating a genuinely eye-catching, multicoloured piece for the home. The bird's body is carved from albizia wood with an aged finish that beautifully recreates the peacock's plumage through fine hand-carved reliefs across the surface. The tail fans out widely thanks to a full crest of dried sea grass, its base neatly trimmed with small white bead-like elements running along the outline of the plumage for extra detail. The figure stands on two sturdy iron rods anchored to a rectangular dark wood base, which give the whole piece added stability. With dimensions of 64x12x53h cm, this peacock figure is a striking decorative piece for living rooms, entryways or spaces with an ethnic, boho or natural style.
