Decorative metal box 13 x 13 x 12h cm

Code:29896

Cube-shaped decorative box made of iron with a lid and an openwork body featuring floral medallions arranged in two horizontal bands separated by a dotted border, with scroll motifs on all four sides and on the lid. A front clasp with a latch keeps the lid closed, and the cut-outs give a glimpse of the interior.

The finish is white over a darker base that shows in the cut-outs and along the edges. Visible wear on the edges and reliefs brings out the openwork pattern and gives it an aged look.

• Dimensions: 12.5 x 12.5 x 11.5 cm (W x D x H).
• Material: iron.
• Cube shape with two bands of openwork medallions.
• Front latch clasp.

At 12.5 cm square and 11.5 cm high, it is deeper than a flat box and holds taller items such as watches, bracelets, small bottles or reels of thread, as well as jewellery and keys. It sits well on a chest of drawers, a dressing table, a bedside table or a shelf, and also works as a gift box.
