This picture is made of Chinese fir, linen and MDF, with a multicoloured design reproducing a vintage illustration of French hot air balloons adorned with garlands and tricolour bunting. The composition includes several balloons of different sizes joined together, with a basket at the bottom from which two figures holding flags peek out, along with French text showing the date and information typical of a period publication. The illustration is printed on linen and mounted on an MDF base, all framed within a natural-toned Chinese fir wood frame that adds warmth to the piece. The aged tone of the background, combined with the soft colours of the illustration, gives the piece a very distinctive vintage feel. Measuring 33x43x1.8 cm, this picture is perfect for decorating living rooms, studies or hallways with a classic or French style.
