This antique Indian brown door in recycled wood is a jewel of Indian colonial architecture with striking carving and golden brass fittings. With dimensions of 155x33x216h cm, the double door features leaves with panels carved in Indo-colonial motifs with diamond shapes, solar rosettes and oriental motifs, in the warm natural colour of teak wood with a patina of use. The solid frame features an upper lintel with pierced carving frieze of leaves and volutes of great ornamental density, pilasters with flutes and corner corbels. The original golden brass fittings include bar handles and a horizontal bolt of great presence. A piece of 216 cm reflecting the ornamental richness of the colonial Gujarati architecture with Indo-European elements of great elegance.
